Practice Personal Hygiene
Wash hands for 20 seconds and rinse under hot soapy water. Cough into your elbow and if you sneeze into a tissue dispose of it immediately and wash hands. Avoid touching your face.
Pack a thermometer

In case you get sick while traveling, pack medications such as over the counter fever reducers that will help lessen the symptoms of COVID-19. Here are guideline the CDC recommends if you become sick https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/if-you-are-sick/steps-when-sick.html or are traveling with someone who becomes ill https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/if-you-are-sick/care-for-someone.html
Pack hand sanitizer
Pack hand sanitizer to use while you are on the airplane. Health experts recommend hand sanitizers with 60% alcohol or more. Be sure to rub your hands together vigorously until they dry. Remember the hand sanitizer bottles much be 3 oz. or less according to TSA regulations.
Pack travel-sized bottles (3oz or less) of disinfectant spray or wipes and paper towels. When you board your flight, be sure to wipe down your armrests, seatback trays, tv monitors and the light and air switches above your seat.
Be sure to distance yourself from others, keeping at least 1 meter or 6 feet between you and others. This can prevent droplets from reaching you while waiting in queues at terminals, restaurants, and restrooms.
Cover your mouth and nose
Use a cloth to cover your face, even if you don’t feel sick. This protects both you and others from getting sick. It is now evident that one can be asymptomatic (carrying illness with no symptoms). Do not cover the mouth and nose of a child under 24 months. The cloth face covering should be tied snuggly and have layers of fabric that act as a barrier. For more guidelines from the CDC click here https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html The CDC recommends a cloth face mask and reserving N95 and surgical masks for our health care workers on the front lines.
