2a. Information you provide directly

• Contact form submissions — your name, email address, and message content when you use the contact form on /contact.html.
• Newsletter subscriptions — your email address when you subscribe to our deal alerts.

We do not collect payment information, passport numbers, or government IDs. We are a comparison service — all bookings are completed on our partners' websites.

2b. Information collected automatically

• Analytics data — pages visited, time on site, referring URL, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic location (country/city level) via Google Analytics 4 and Facebook Pixel.
• Affiliate tracking cookies — when you click a booking link, our affiliate network (Travelpayouts) sets a tracking cookie to attribute any resulting booking to our site. This enables us to earn a commission at no cost to you.
• Server logs — standard web server logs including IP address and request timestamps, retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to messages and enquiries you send via the contact form.
• To send flight deal newsletters if you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time).
• To understand site usage patterns and improve our content and user experience (analytics).
• To attribute bookings to our affiliate links so we receive commission payments.
• To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

3a. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases under Article 6 of the GDPR:

• Consent — for optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel) and marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time via our cookie banner or by emailing us.

• Booking.com, Expedia, Kayak, Skyscanner — booking links redirect to these partners, which have their own privacy policies governing any data you provide during booking.

6. Data Retention

• Contact form submissions: retained for 12 months, then deleted.
• Newsletter email addresses: retained until you unsubscribe.
• Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics default (14 months) and Facebook Pixel default settings.
• Server logs: 30 days.

7. Your Rights

GDPR (EEA/UK residents)

You have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion ("right to be forgotten"); object to processing; data portability; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. CCPA (California residents)

FlyCheapAlways is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
